Restorative
Restorative dental procedures correct structural and functional problems with your teeth. We fix crooked or misaligned teeth, and teeth that are growing incorrectly thus affecting the misalignment of other teeth.
Partials
Partials are removable appliances that replace one or more teeth, but not all. There are two types of partials:
- Resin with metal
- All resin
Dentures
Full dentures are a removable appliance that replaces all your teeth and dental tissue. When all of your teeth are lost due to bone loss or decay, full dentures are substitutes for people with advanced gum disease in which the gums will not support implants or other options.
Restoration of Implants
Implant Restoration involves connecting an artificial tooth to an existing dental implant.
Dental implant surgery is dependent upon the condition of your jawbone and requires a surgical procedure performed outside the dentist’s office by an aesthetic surgeon. The procedure occurs in stages and involves several months of tissue recover, but it provides solid support for your new teeth.
Davis & Reese does not perform the surgery itself; however, for patients who have had implant surgery, the process by which Davis & Reese restores artificial teeth into the implant, involves puncturing a hole in the gum tissue above the implant, and screwing the artificial tooth (or teeth) into the implant by means of a metal cylinder. This expensive procedure is a sophisticated and cutting-edge alternative to dentures.
